Business Overview:

Diversity and Inclusion is a key pillar of the Bank's commitment to human rights and to ensure an inclusive working environment for all. Reporting to the Head of HR Americas, the regional Head of Diversity & Inclusion will be responsible for effectively executing the Americas D&I strategy; implementing key diversity strategies, defining and implementing appropriate measurement tools and supporting regional executive management in the integration of the Bank's D&I strategy across the region.

Candidate Success Factors:

Responsibilities:

* Develop and communicate a compelling business case for fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, and building awareness and accountability across all talent functions
* Conduct research and analysis to provide insight on developing diversity workforce management trends. Benchmark industry best practices to support strategies to monitor and evaluate enterprise-wide progress in creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
* Work in partnership with Group HR to build alignment with the global Diversity program, including attending bi-annual Group Diversity Committee meetings.
* Develop an integrated D&I strategy for the Americas region and develop and implement the appropriate measures/tools to ensure it is continuously evaluated, is relevant to the current business landscape and that it supports the regional human capital strategy. Manage the implementation of the strategy across all business/functional areas and engage EXCO Leaders as co-owners of the strategy.
* Provide thought leadership by developing innovative initiatives and recommendations that drive business strategy and demonstrate the impact of diversity and inclusion to bottom line results.
* Build successful relationships with relevant Centers of Expertise (Brand & Communications, Talent & Organizational Development, HR Business Partners, etc.) to formulate integrated messaging and the integration of diversity and inclusion into communications and development of employees.
* Enable an inclusive talent pipeline by partnering with other COE's (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HRBPs), and business leaders
* Implement key diversity initiatives with a focus on employee engagement and articulation of an employee value proposition on diversity.
* Engage with business leadership to drive diversity related messages throughout the region. Provide consulting expertise to the region through focus groups, meeting facilitation, group exercises, etc.
* Interface with external organizations to develop partnerships and further develop D&I strategies. Market the BNP Paribas diversity and inclusion brand to community, customers and educational entities.
* Develop and manage the Employee Resource Groups by providing thought-leadership, guidelines, processes and growth plans; advance development of ERG's networks and ensure credible operating plans are executed
* Recommend and plan appropriate D&I budget
* Create Diversity training initiatives with the aim to support education for all levels of Management
* Serve as HR representative on the regional CSR Council and as regional correspondent for CSR HR topics: coordinate the annual social reporting; provide any required regional CSR HR information to answer questionnaires/surveys from rating agencies or analysts.
* Serve as a member of the Philanthropic Initiative Council
* Be an active participant and manage the Bank's membership in relevant networking and diversity groups
* Encourage the Bank to develop new and use existing reward mechanisms to promote Diversity and Inclusion

Minimum Required Qualifications

* At least 10-15 years of progressive related industry experience

* Dep understanding and interest in diversity & inclusion

* Excellent senior stakeholder management

* Experience of successfully managing multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery and implementation under time, budget and political pressure

* Proven success in working in a fast-paced growing business environment

* Experience working collaboratively to facilitate the delivery of projects across business lines and geographies

* Experience of managing change

* FINRA Registrations Required: N/A
