Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst is part of a team that enables the Corporate Technology Group to continuously modernize, consolidate and digitize technology solutions and provide an enhanced user experience to Fidelity associates. The Senior Business Analyst conducts business analysis and works closely with the Corporate Technology Group to ensure they have a solid understanding of Ethics Office current and future needs. The Senior Business Analyst also manages and maintains a prioritized backlog of deliverables, develops and tests technical solutions, and is an active participant in building effective business partner relationships.
In this role, you will help ensure that Fidelity associates comply with a broad range of securities laws and regulations. By being customer obsessed, you will help associates meet their compliance obligations. You will think and work across Fidelity by partnering and driving solutions with our business and control function partners. By taking risks and valuing pace over perfection, you will help drive innovation in the compliance space.

The Ethics Office plays a vital role in supporting associates at Fidelity by interpreting laws, regulations, and standards into workable compliance measures, fostering a culture of compliance and ethics through training and awareness efforts, and ensuring program effectiveness through monitoring and reporting.
In this role, you will help ensure that Fidelity protects its reputation by providing operational and project management leadership to the team and oversight of planning and resource allocation. We are seeking a candidate with a strong project management, technology, and compliance or audit background, who can thrive in a challenging, deadline-driven team environment.
Critical thinking to analyze complex requirements and identify and implement process improvements. Our group is passionate about modernizing compliance using technology, data analytics and process automation. We are looking for someone who is just as driven as we are to find innovative solutions to address compliance needs.
Data Visualization to facilitate greater self-service. This includes partnering with the business to learn about their processes and information needs, translating those needs into requirements, and leading the building / testing / deployment of interactive reporting solutions
The Expertise You Have
* Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, or information systems
* 6+ years of relevant experience
* Fully knowledgeable and skilled in India and US financial and securities markets required.
* Strong problem solving and data analytical skills
* Positive attitude and goal-driven
* Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Agile/Scrum experience is a plus

* Collaborating with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product

* Solving application related problems, making decisions, completing trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
* Assessing value, developing cases, and prioritizing stories, epics and themes to ensure work is aligned with technology strategy and results in maximum value
* Working with end-users to define testing environment and acceptance criteria; explains the criticality of their active involvement in test design and all testing phases
* Defining, creating, and executing test plans and cases; estimating time, effort and resources required.
* Drafting key objectives and results, strategies and analyzing the product data to make business decisions

History of Fidelity Investments
The Fidelity Fund was established in 1930, a year after the stock market crash of 1929 and before the Great Depression of 1933. The fund continued to operate until 1943 when it was acquired by Boston-based lawyer Edward C. Johnson II. At the time, the fund reported assets under management valued at $3 million. In 1946, Johnson II founded the Fidelity Management and Research Company, now Fidelity Investments, to serve as an investment advisor to the Fidelity Fund. When running the fund, Johnson’s objective was to buy stocks with a potential for growth, and not necessarily blue-chip stocks.
