The Oracle Applications Developer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
* Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
* Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
* Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
* Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
* Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
* Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
* Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
* Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
* Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

* 5-8 years of work related experience
* 5-8 years experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications(Oracle)
* 5-8 years experience in managing and implementing successful projects
* 5-8 years of experience working with consulting/project management techniques/methods
* 5-8 years of working with Oracle financials
* Proven ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Education:
* Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Job Purpose: The purpose of this job is to design, develop, implement, customize and support Oracle e-Business Suite for CITIs P2P application.P2P is oracles Procure-to-Pay solution to manage different risks and controls across CITIs procurement and payable operations. This job requires good understanding of business flows, underlying technical architecture and table structure of Oracle E-Business Finance Suite along with experience in Implementation, Migration, Customization, of various modules in Oracle Applications with major focus in General Ledger module (GL).This job also requires hands on experience on technologies like Oracle PL/SQL, XML, OAF, Workflow Builder, Unix Shell Scripting and Web Services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Code & Develop software specifications ,scripts , reports and utilities using SQL , PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Workflow Builder and Unix Shell Scripting.
* Design and Develop Stored procedures, Functions and Triggers in PL/SQL to implement complex business rules.
* Lead the technical team at offshore to successfully implement the EBS solutions in close partnership with different stakeholders like onsite technical leads, Functional and feeds teams.
* Support the technical testing of the solution including user story acceptance, SIT, UAT, and other typical ERP testing methodologies in both agile and waterfall.
* Using GFTS standards and tools to deliver required technical artefacts for the project.
* Communicating to and soliciting information from a variety of technical and functional experts.
* Attending, participating and/or leading meetings and discussions, particularly those that will have a high disruption factor to the community of users.
* Completing all assigned project deliverables and associated documentation at sufficient levels of detail to communicate to a broad audience.
* Maintaining and/or contributing to the technical aspects of the overall project plan throughout the course of the project by supporting the project management activities and status reporting of the project. The incumbent will also be responsible for vendor relationship management and escalations.
* Supporting the technical team in developing technology standards (e.g. architecture design, environment control, instance strategy, change control and migration control).
* Monitoring and tracking all open tickets with the vendor for timely resolution.
Support the project team in Change Management, providing guidance and support of organizational change and communications based on changes made to the systems.
* Work with functional business analysts to gather business requirements & translate them into technical specifications documents.
* Generate, Deploy and Invoke web services.
* Get involved in in post-production support and work with Level 2, functional and DBA teams to troubleshoot the issues.
* Work on oracle Service Requests using Metalink to mitigate issues as a result of bugs in the product.
