Job Summary
Provides direct people leadership, motivation, and support to positively influence the accomplishment of goals, maximize growth and improve business performance for the organization.
A divisional leadership position responsible for managing multiple team leaders with accountability for varying work processes and levels of complexity. Supports the achievement of division / department / enterprise goals and objectives, programs, policies, and procedures in a business area. Utilizes previous experience, knowledge and industry best practices to contribute to the development of functional strategy and/or the development of other leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Leading People Requirements:
Manages team leaders/managers by providing appropriate direction, coordinating division activities, monitoring employees and division performance, and formulating and implementing action plans.
Manages multiple processes and/or service delivery teams
Assigns key responsibilities to managers and exempt employees
Evaluate division's business plans and new initiatives to make recommendations for the impact on staffing, resources and structure.
Assists in formulating, communicating, and implementing plan for business area.
Monitors and implements the Company's Affirmative action goals for the selection, training, development and promotion of minority group members and women.
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills to motivate employees, compose memos and reports, participate in process improvement, and facilitate resolution of problems.
Communicates Information / Accountability to Results:
Effectively communicates with all stakeholders, division employees, customers, clients, and vendors to ensure quality delivery of customer service and expedient resolution of problems.
Assists employees and leadership team in interpreting information received from business units or other departments and effectively link the communications to business unit and company objectives.
Establishes and communicates performance standards. Additionally, ensures performance is monitored through appropriate reviews.
Monitor management reports to evaluate progress towards department goals.
Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies, procedures, and reporting requirements by monitoring the quality process and implementing corrective action to ensure policy and procedures are adhered to.
Leads/Manages Projects:
Leads complex projects requiring the coordination of multiple resources via RCPS (CI environment).
Documents and communicates the progress of projects to include key measurements and opportunity areas and risk assessments to leadership team and key stakeholders.
Notify appropriate individuals of concerns/opportunities and make recommendations for solutions (equipment, services, schedules, due dates).

Job Qualifications
3- 5 years' experience leading teams within Allstate.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Bilingual Spanish Preferred
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Management experience in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic economic, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices.
Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
Excellent organizational management skills.
