Summary

Manages and implements customer pricing processes in support of business retention and growth goals (evaluating and developing customer proposals, leading various pricing programs, etc.). Partners with cross-functional teams to develop new pricing proposals/contracts and drive appropriate decisions and communications based on strategic, financial, or legal impacts on the business. Contributes to on-going pricing analytics projects and assessment of customer performance and market pricing trends. Identifies and implements enhancements and updates to current profitability models or any tools necessary to analyze customer and/or program profitability.

Core responsibilities

* Participates in end-to-end management of customer proposal and contracting process for Distribution and Manufacturing Solutions agreements with limited supervision.
* Partners with all levels of Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal and Products team to prepare financial analysis of customer proposals and develop solutions/offerings that both meet customer needs and are aligned with internal company business and financial objectives.
* Collaborates with Legal team on the preparation, review, and approval of final Master Services Agreements, including ensuring the accurate reflection of financial terms and structure of the proposal in Agreements.
* Supports the accurate implementation of new Agreements by clearly communicating the terms of an Agreement and ensuring that impact business functions are aware of requirements.
* Collaborates with Sales, Finance, and Contract Compliance to monitor and manage on-going assessment of customer profitability and to support various compliance initiatives.
* Supports the development and on-going maintenance of standardized reporting as well as ad hoc reporting needs.
* Performs additional duties as directed.

Qualifying Experience

* Bachelors Degree, preferably in related field (Finance, Business, etc.); MBA highly preferred
* 13 or more years of related experience (Revenue Management, pricing optimization, Financial Planning & Analysis, distribution channel management, business development, etc.)
* 8 or more years of directly related Pricing experience
* Or any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements
* Travel up to 25%
* Pricing expertise, knowledge, and experience with pricing processes, systems, and controls, with proven capability to develop a world-class pricing function
* Knowledge of customer deal economics, financial modeling techniques, and related pricing strategies
* Experience applying advanced analytics and statistical skills
* Expertise in spreadsheet modeling and presentation skills
* Demonstrated achievement in application of IT tools toward improving analytical decision-making
* Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Statement of Cash Flows, Income Statements
* Ability to think logically and analytically, problem-solve, build consensus, and lead
* Strong communication skills, especially in the area of verbal/written communication
* Comfort level in working in various levels of the Company, including with senior leadership
* Functional knowledge of Hyperion, EssBase, and PowerBI preferred
* Ability to collaborate effectively acrossand at multiple levels oforganizations and to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
* Strong ability to think creatively on distribution strategy and innovate on conventional processes and practices
* Results-oriented individual who can assess situations through an analytical mindset
