As a Business Development Manager in the Silicon Photonics Products Division, you will interface directly with customers to drive adoption, qualification, and sales of Intel optical transceivers and other silicon photonics products, working in partnership with Intel field sales teams. We are looking for an experienced sales or business development professional who can be a true customer champion to help grow revenue and expand our customer base across cloud, telecom, and enterprise markets.

Responsibilities:

* Direct customer engagement to obtain design wins and share awards for Intel silicon photonics products, in partnership with the Intel field sales team.

* Build customer relationships.

* Discover, assess, and develop opportunities.

* Create account and strategy plans mapping key decision makers in customer organizations.

* Develop customer-specific design win and revenue forecasts and goals.

* Provide first-line customer contact for any customer issues, and drive resolution in partnership with the product line management and applications engineering teams.

* Respond to customers Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI), working with the product line management team.

* Provide key information on customer requirements and timelines, as well as information on competitor status, to the rest of the business unit.

* Participate in legal, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), contracts, and other negotiations.

* Develop customer pricing strategy in alignment with the product line management and account teams, and participate in customer pricing negotiations.

* Provide input based on customer feedback and insights to help develop revenue and market forecasts.

* Develop and deliver training for Intel field sales teams and customers as needed.

* Participate and provide input into customer marketing communications activities, demos, and other events.

Qualifications

* Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of industry experience
6+ years of experience working in a customer-facing environment.
* 6+ years of experience in developing marketing and technical presentations aimed at educating customers, partners or sales teams
* 4+ years of experience in networking markets

Preferred Qualifications

* 4+ years of experience with optical communications highly preferred
* 6+ years of experience in business development activities including messaging, competitive and market segment analysis, account penetration planning, direct sales, and technical leadership.
