The Cloud System Development team is a team dedicated to ensuring that the IBM Cloud is at the forefront of cloud technology, from data center design to network architecture to storage and compute clusters to flexible infrastructure services. We are building IBM's next generation cloud platform to deliver performance and predictability for our customers' most demanding workloads, at global scale with efficiency, resiliency and security. We are looking for a UI Developer to join our team in Rochester, MN, someone who will work as a developer for the UI of our next generation IBM Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for end to end feature enablement across the UI, and the integration of these into the broader ecosystem of the existing IBM cloud. You will perform hands-on coding, working to increase the knowledge and performance of the collective team.

As an ideal candidate, you are someone who has worked on a full-stack product at an enterprise or equivalent level. If you are passionate about cloud development, if you enjoy not only sharing a vision, but getting your hands dirty to be sure that that vision is made a reality in a fast-paced, challenging environment, then we want to talk to you!

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience with Agile software development
* Strong debug skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, team oriented
* A track record of building enterprise web application
* Strong knowledge and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, (React, Angular, Vue.js, Backbone, Ember, Jest, Enzyme etc.), HTML5 and CSS3, Node.js and Express
* Minimum of 2 years experience programming using JavaScript and/or JavaScript frameworks.
* Good understanding of UI design principles and usability

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience with Agile team project delivery practices
* Experience with large scale web application deployments
* Experience with React, Redux, GraphQL, REST API/service oriented architecture
* Experience with IBM Cloud Platform
