The Head of Card Operations Partner Management oversees and manages the strategic relationships of with US Credit Card and Unsecured Lending (CCUL) internal partners and external suppliers. This role will engage directly with external suppliers to ensure the services provided to our customers and the organization meet and exceed their expectations.

Requirements

* Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee

* Performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required

* Accountable for leading the strategic engagement with TD Centers of Excellence and Suppliers to ensure service levels for resources not directly managed by the team are met

* Partner with US Cards Ops and Reengineering to execute against changes and projects while ensuring the they are on time and identifying/mitigating any potential risk.

* Partner with TD technology to develop, implement & monitoring day to day Ops end to end (i.e. controls, technology, etc.)

* Leads US Cards Project Management & Delivery team and works closely with various CCUL teams to deliver on new initiatives.

* Develops, maintains and strengthens engagement with all stakeholders including business partners, federated functions, and Vendors

* Manages critical card supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and execution on behalf of RCS and US Bankcard

* Leads negotiation for new and amended service elements in support of product enhancements and evolving service needs

* Develops and implements enhancements to servicing models and processes ensuring ongoing alignment with product directions and service/support capability

* Oversight includes developing and implementing enhancements to the existing servicing model and adding new customer support and operational models.

* Accountable for the development of strategies or initiatives to achieve a high quality vendor service while supporting the growth objectives of the line(s) of business and the Bank

* Ensures relationships are continuously optimized and providing strategic value to the organization

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree required

* 7 + Years related experience require

* In-depth knowledge of vendor management

* Strong leadership experience and people management skills are critical. Evidence of people development skills in coaching and mentoring of Employees

* Experience establishing and implementing new processes and systems

* Strong management, organizational and evaluative process skills

* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with internal partners and external vendors

* Effective negotiation and influencing skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills

* Communication and presentation skills
