The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated cyber security professional to join our Enterprise Government Cyber Security team as a Senior Information System Security Manager (ISSM) based in Herndon, VA.

You will rely on your cyber security and Information Assurance (IA) background to be a technical leader and support Enterprise activities and Boeing customers throughout multiple classified computing domains. The ISSM is responsible for ensuring all Information System Security policies, standards, and directives are enforced to support assessment, authorization and continued operation of information systems processing classified information.

Position Responsibilities:

* Perform security analysis of operational and development environments, threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces to define and assess compliance with accepted industry and government standards
* Lead and implement the Authorization and Assessment (A&A) processes under the Risk Managed Framework (RMF) for new and existing information systems
* Facilitate development of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA) and support Continuous Monitoring (CONMON)
* Oversee configuration management of assigned systems; auditing systems to ensure security posture integrity
* Conduct risk assessments and investigations, execute appropriate risk mitigation, and oversee incident response activities
* Conduct periodic hardware/software inventory assessments
* Interface with the appropriate government customers, suppliers, and company personnel to implement protective mechanisms and to ensure understanding of and compliance with cyber security requirements

This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* Successfully completed a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the Federal Government within the last 5 years
* 4+ years with one of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI
* 3+ years of experience in cyber security

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Bachelors Degree or higher
* Currently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC or CISM)
* Experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Manager (ISSM) supporting classified programs
* Experience in project management

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
