We are in search of creative individuals to join our elite Systems Engineering team developing the End-to-End calibration solution for the sensor and overall Line of Sight. You will be the Calibration Thread lead ensuring the integration of sensor performance, system pointing, calibration processes, algorithm execution, and data analysis. Work with some of the countrys foremost experts in Line of Sight, Sensor Performance, Space Vehicle Architecture, and more. The sensor is the mission, so the importance of your role can not be understated.
As a Calibration Systems Engineer, you will:
Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system level design and decomposition into requirements
Evaluate sensor performance and its ability to meet requirements.
Support development of hardware/software interfaces, algorithms, etc.
Participate in studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities
Support development of mission interfaces, hardware requirements, data processing capabilities, and mission commanding
Evaluate and document the performance of the system, participate in system test activities, etc. in order to verify mission requirements.
Participate in, coordinate, and present material at working groups, design reviews, and technical product reviews
-This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience developing and/or using systems models or simulations to perform functions, such as:
a.) System Trade studies
b.) Requirements decomposition
c.) Performance Predictions
Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process
Active Top-Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain
Desired Skills:
3+ years with spacecraft architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level
System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Sensor, Software, etc.)
Familiarity or proficiency with one or more of the following engineering tools: [e.g., MATLAB, STK, etc]
Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program
Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
