Responsibilities
The Associate Health Nurse is responsible of the overall daily operations and functions of Associate Health Services for the facility. Coordinates pre-employment appointments, performs nursing assessments on associates, coordinates reporting and follow up for employee exposures, maintains associate health records and provides reports internally and externally as required. Stays abreast of trends and best practices and updates policies and practices in order to promote a safe and healthy work force. Creates and promotes wellness initiatives for all associates.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN State license. Bachelors degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years RN experience required. Previous Employee/Occupational Health experience is preferred.Occupational Health Nurse certification (COHN) preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of applicable OSHA and TJC regulations related to employee health issues. Planning and organizational skills and computer skills.
