Job Title: Lead DMLSS Clerk/Materials Handler
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Lead DMLSS Clerk/Materials Handler in Ft. Belvoir, VA. The Lead DMLLS Clerk/Materials Handler provides oversight to the work request process and from the hospital staff, enters the information into DMLLS to generate a work order, dispatch the appropriate EMCOR trades personnel and provides training to the DMLLS Clerks. This position requires an advanced understanding of the client DMLLS software system. Additionally, this position, manages the vendor material procurement and payroll process. The position requires both strong organizational and courteous communication skills in a team environment. Team work is essential to the success of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Manages the materials ordering process, maintains the annual materials order tracking spreadsheet and monthly overtime authorization status logs.
* Overseas monthly payroll Time Trax system and maintains the monthly leave status calendar.
* Schedules service type work with vendors and subcontractors.
* Answer incoming calls to the Work Control Center to receive service work requests from the hospital staff for hospital or related building deficiencies and record this information into a DMLLS work order.
* Enter all detailed historical data from both service work orders and preventive maintenance work orders into the DMLLS database. This information is provided by the various trade personnel.
* Provide guidance and training to all DMLLS Clerks on the essential steps in navigating the software to include reporting requirements.
* Provide work order status as per Facility staff member's request.
* Dispatch trades personnel in response to work orders and emergencies.
* Print work orders and preventive maintenance (PM) tickets and forward to supervision as needed.
* Prepare DMLSS reports for the Project Manager.
* Prepare completed work orders and PM's in DMLLS.
* File completed work orders, preventative maintenance (PM) orders, reports, etc.
* Input new Real Property Equipment Inventory (RPEI) in DMLLS with approved procedures provided by supervision.
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * 3-6 years of experience performing similar duties, preferably on a facilities maintenance contract.
* Proficient in DMLLS, CMMS, Maximo, SAP and MS Office, highly preferred.
* Must be able to pass and maintain a Department of Defense Public Trust background investigation.
* Must complete the OSHA 10 General Safety and Health Training class (supplied by EMCOR).
* Unless a higher degree is specified in this job posting, all positions require a minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
