About the Job:
With a bold goal of adding 2,000 stores, Taco Bell is looking for a highly motivated person to help identify and build a pipeline of diverse, growth-minded franchise candidates. The Associate Manager, Franchise Recruiting will lead franchise recruiting efforts. This key function involves representing the Taco Bell brand to the outside franchise community, lenders, brokers, and other key stakeholders. This is a pivotal role within the world-class Taco Bell Development Team.
The Day-to-Day:
Manage franchise recruiting efforts from sourcing and initial contact through qualification, interview, and onboarding process into the Taco Bell system
Establish relationships with national/local lenders, financial consultants, associations and organizations that may be sources of highly qualified candidates for current and future expansion opportunities.
Enhance franchise recruiting efforts tied to Yum! Equity Inclusion & Belonging commitment
Partner with the Franchise Development team to prioritize targeted areas for new franchisees and effectively develop strategies for those areas.
Partner with sister brands to identify strong franchise candidates that may be looking to expand their Yum! Portfolio
Partner with Yum! sister brand peers to develop programs aimed at retaining high-performing franchisees in the system
Is This You?
BS/BA with MBA preferred - Finance/Marketing/Accounting/Sales/Real Estate/HR Recruiting
7+ years of experience in executive level research/screening, finance, recruiting, and/or relationship management. Multi-unit franchise / QSR industry experience a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational with ability to partner well with other team members and interface effectively with all levels of management.
Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with people at all levels by telephone, in writing or in person.
Ability to lead others without direct reporting authority (i.e. ability to influence)
Experience in navigating ambiguous situations and creating process amidst ambiguity
Strategic thought partner
Proven ability to identify talents and strengths in others
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
Ability to establish relationships with franchisees, real estate developers, brokers.
Ability to review and understand franchise financial economics, financial statements and other legal documents,
Solid organizational and time management skills, with ability to work independently and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
PC proficient (Excel, Word , Power Point, etc.)
