PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply stencils and paint to drill pipe
Manually apply sequence numbers with a mallet and metal stamp to drill pipe
Clean work area
Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with company safety & quality procedures
Record pipe sequence numbers for data entry
Work more than one HT line
Perform minor maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment according to procedure.
Must be able to read and write legibly
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 12 hrs)
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions (cold, heat, rain)
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Basic computer skills required

The Rig Technologies segment offers substructures, derricks, and masts; cranes; jacking systems; pipe lifting, racking, rotating, and assembly systems; mud pumps; blowout preventers; drives and generators; rig instrumentation and control systems; mooring, anchor, and deck handling machinery; and pipelay and construction systems.
It also provides spare parts, repair, and rentals, as well as remote equipment monitoring, technical support, field service, and customer training services. The company was founded in 1862 and is based in Houston, Texas.
