In this exciting role, you will manage all aspects of cross-channel digital media, ensuring successful achievement of all KPI's for the US market. This includes new customer acquisition, conversion and retention for all digital channels (desktop, web and mobile apps). You will be part of a team that supports US product and marketing groups, and is counted on to drive digital marketing efforts that result in Western Union's continued growth in the space.

Role Responsibilities

Act as the day-to-day contact for cross-channel campaign execution for paid search, app store search, display, video and paid social.

Responsible for supporting and managing initial planning, implementation, execution, monitoring, optimization, and performance analysis.

Drive key business requirements for US business segments across channels; requires ability to analyze data, read reporting, recommend changes and optimizations as required based on ongoing monitoring of performance. 

Work closely with our digital media agencies to design plans, outline objectives, implement testing, report, and hit key KPIs for each of the business deliverables, as outlined in the plans.

Identifies and investigates new opportunities and areas for channel growth/expansion to improve current marketing efforts, ensuring strategies fit within the overall US marketing plans.

Affiliate Outreach, Communication & Support – Identify and recruit affiliate publishers and media partners into our program.

Lead weekly agency/vendor calls to discuss account performance, interpretation of data, and action plans based on learnings; maintains a positive working relationship with agencies/vendors while clearly communicating the value of overall media, both internally, and externally.

Manage US media budgeting and forecasting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly). Manages the PO and invoicing process to align with business goals.

Must be able to work well across multiple departments within the organization including brand, creative, product, and global marketing to identify key requirements and leverage assets that will assist in driving growth.  

Develop creative briefs, write ad copy, ideate affiliate messaging, and manage creative processes from brief to completion, including legal review and internal approvals and signoffs.

Role Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience preferred.

4-7 years of digital media marketing experience specific to paid search, paid social, display/video, or other digital channels including programmatic and out-of-home.

Must have digital advertising industry experience with an advertiser, agency, or publisher.

Experience in a global consumer brand or financial services company.

Experience with advertising tools including SA360, Google AdWords, Partnerize, mParticle, or Kochava.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to set strategic direction and priorities within a complex, multi-cultural business.

Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple campaigns through different phases of execution.

Experience with global, multi-tiered marketing implementation, with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of regional nuances and challenges in the digital marketing space.
