What you'll do...

H&R Block, the world’s leader in tax preparation services, is looking for a remote Seasonal Advisor for the Associate Relations department. The Advisor provides support and guidance to associates and leaders nationwide related to employee relations and ethics concerns.

What you’ll do…

Mediate and resolve disputes between associates and leaders; provides guidance and recommendations to leaders on coaching, performance management and other work-related concerns that complies with federal, state and/or local employment laws, and organizational policies
Conduct investigations into company violations, and share findings with leaders, business partners and other involved parties as appropriate
Contribute to the advancement of the Associate Relations team through ownership of and/or participation in identifying trends and potential process improvements, developing tools and templates, or creating standard operating procedures to be adopted by the team 

What you'll bring to the team...

A minimum of five (5) years Employee Relations or HR Generalist experience or combination of related experience
An associate degree in business administration, human resources, or other related field or a related discipline in which business knowledge and an understanding of human resources practices are gained
Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated as a consultative advisor by building partnerships and delivering customer-centric solutions while working well in critical situations
Proficient written/verbal communication and Windows-based computer system including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

It would be even better if you also had...

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or other related field or a related discipline in which business knowledge and an understanding of human resources practices are gained
Experience working with an online human resources case management system

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.

Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
