About our group:
The Product Assurance Engineering organization that is focused on long term testing (LTT), interoperation testing (IOP) and user experience testing (UX) for Seagate storage systems.
About the role - you will:
Executes test cases under varying circumstances
Documents and evaluates test results
Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches
Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts
Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts
About you:
A potential candidate will have a high degree of attention to detail as well as good analytic skills. Is a team player but can also work independently when required. The candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Your experience includes:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field (i.,e Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, Materials, Physics, or Information Technology) and 0 years of experience or equivalent education and experience. A Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Computer technology or Electrical Engineering highly preferred.
Experience in a heterogeneous customer environment with various OS'es, HBA's, target devices and applications
Unix/Linux command line execution
Program in Python, C, SQL
Proficient in test management software
Good working knowledge of programming languages
QA testing experience
You might also have:
Experience in Jira opening and tracking defects
Experience in Agile frameworks and regression testing desired
