 Key Responsibilities

Under general supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials; treatment, storage, and disposal (TSD) according to established guidelines.
Use receiving schedule as a guide, spot and unload incoming tank wagons and trailers. Review shipping documents to verify receipts.
Pull various type of samples as directed and deliver to lab.
Input data and update inventory records of material movements and conveys communication through computer terminal.
May operate motorized and non- motorized material handling equipment- including fork truck and yard jockey truck on a regular basis to move, load, and unload containers.
Oversee the pumping and transfer of hazardous waste streams. adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, cleaning pumping apparatus and safety equipment.
Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and yard; operate power sweepers, hand sweeping/mopping, clean process equipment, paint equipment as necessary.
Assist ERU Technician in areas of material handling.
Work in an environment with the appropriate safety procedures and equipment in place
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in material handling hazardous waste with fork truck and yard jockey truck preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents, i.e., safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Suites- Outlook, Excel, Word.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
