If you are a Finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Marshalltown, IA location, you will manage the worldwide division on many financial aspects of the business and be a main contact with Corporate Finance on financial expectations and results. Assists in leading the WW FP&A group by working on and running financial strategic plan, budgets, monthly closes, and ad hoc requests. Perform financial analysis of actual performance and business plans. Recommend and implement appropriate methods and techniques to be applied by the company in financial analysis and reporting.
AS A WORLDWIDE FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Manage global financials and budget preparation for the division, including planning for/participation in monthly world area reviews and annual budget meetings.
Provide leadership and development to a team of direct staff.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information, safeguarding division assets.
Lead financial planning, forecasting and budgeting for the business unit and assist in achievement of safety, service level and financial goals. In addition, provide leadership in development of the division strategic plan.
Handle worldwide HQ forecasting and budgeting. Understand HQ initiatives are aligned with financial plan.
Engage with and support business unit leaders. Help them to evaluate and recommend appropriate methods and techniques for financial evaluation of projects to run and grow the business.
Be a key contact for the Automation Solutions and Final Control Finance teams.
Be an authority within the Flow Controls Finance/Accounting team.
To provide other financial and analytical support as the need arises.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and Accounting; or equivalent experience
4+ years experience in Financial Analysis and Accounting
Application of knowledge gained concerning balance sheets, P&L's, and other financial statements to complete required financial analysis
Strong IT skills (including Microsoft Office, HFM, and Oracle)
Excellent communications skills and the ability to comfortably communicate with senior levels in the organization
PERFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
MBA/CPA/CMA
Supervision experience
