Requisition Summary
This position will manage activities to significantly improve on time deliveries from the PACCAR supply base.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Actively engage with suppliers to identify and resolve issues preventing 100% on time delivery to PACCAR manufacturing plants.
Focus on low performing suppliers and drive actions to resolve the root cause of low performance.
Develop and implement actions and strategies with suppliers, procurement, supply chain, engineering and quality to address supplier capacity, manufacturing and supply chain constraints.
Support PACCAR manufacturing plants and service organization on major supplier issues. On site supplier problem solving support and ensure timely implementation of permanent corrective actions and resolution.
Move between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
Maintain consistent and clear communication with executive leadership and key stakeholders on status and resolution of critical supplier issues.
Lead assessment of supplier capacity and identifies solutions to improve processes / equipment to improve output.
Qualifications
Experience in Materials/Logistics, Plant Operations, and Manufacturing Processes.
Experience dealing with supply chain issues
Lean + Six Sigma Experience
TRAVEL 75% - candidate would ideally be located near supply base
Strong influencing, collaboration and relationship-building skills both internally and externally with suppliers
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Working knowledge of manufacturing, services and supply chain operations
Manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines

Bachelor's Degree
