We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the technical team responsible for the motorcycle chassis system content needed to deliver LiveWire vehicle programs. You will provide technical leadership and expertise to the design and delivery of chassis structures, brakes, suspension, wheels, tires, bodywork, and RVI (rider vehicle interface) systems. As manager, you will be responsible for guiding the priorities and professional development of up to 10 direct reports. You will also be accountable for your team’s delivery to technical requirements, critical path schedules, and overall budget as they develop the next generation hardware that will drive LiveWire’s leadership in the marketplace.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide professional development, guide issue resolution, and align on work priorities for 7-10 direct reports.
• Accountable for engineering excellence of chassis systems across all LiveWire vehicles. Includes delivery to program requirements, technical correctness, timing, and budget.
• Collaborate with other product development leaders to refine scope of new vehicle programs to achieve key customer facing objectives while optimizing resource and timing needs.
• Drive system architecture and innovation development across chassis systems.
• Review and approve key engineering output including component drawings, product requirement documents, engineering change notices, and DFMEAs.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field. Master’s Degree Preferred.
Experience Requirements
• BS or MS in Engineering. 8 years of related experience.
• Passion for product design engineering fundamentals and ability to grow this passion in others.
• Experience developing a broad range of vehicle systems from clean sheet through volume production.
• History of solving complex mechanical design problems in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to communicate technical subjects clearly and concisely.
• Expertise in program and resource management.
