REQUISITION SUMMARY

The International Logistics Manager ideal candidate will be a motivated and self directed supply chain professional responsible for all commercial aspects of PACCAR’s relationship with its international supply chain. This role will negotiate contracts with international transportation service providers to ensure service expectations are being met in a fast paced dynamic environment. This role will provide leadership and deep industry expertise to our international logistics globally including coordination of multicontinental logistics.

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES 

Develop strategies and negotiate/administer all international transportation contracts and rates for ocean and air. 
Document and execute international supply chain initiatives to meet or exceed cost and service requirements related to carrier and supplier performance.
Generate and maintain international carrier compliance and scorecards to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the network utilizing metrics and business reviews.
Interface and communicate regularly with internal customers, international carriers/vendors, team members, and management.  Lead international teams across divisions globally on international logistic carriers and warehousing solutions including complex project implementation.
 Effectively utilize data when analyzing issues and problem solving.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

Education Requirements: Bachelors
Technical / Professional Experience Requirements: 3-5 Years Procurement and International Logistics Experience,
3 Years Program Management Experience
Total Years of Experience Required: 5 Years
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and proven ability to manage complex projects.
Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment and work well under pressure.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Strong system and database knowledge along with experience in transportation management systems preferred.
