Better requires process discipline and simplification

Leading a team of AML Compliance System analysts, you will focus on the rules side of compliance.  Your team will collect AML compliance requirements and communicate that to IT through stories in Jira, to help build the automated rules that drive potential compliance interviews or cases to the back office for investigation.  We will look to you to own projects from inception to completion.  As a leader within our global compliance department, we’ll be looking for you to provide functional ownership and leadership and to own projects from inception to completion. This includes managing a team of business analysts, that are responsible for creating business requirements for WU and working with stakeholders to prioritize important Compliance initiatives.

For such a critical role, you’ll have a Bachelors degree in Business or related field. Education or equivalent experience is required. You have 5+ years of experience in a business analyst, product manager, or similar role gathering requirements and communicating requirements to IT. In addition, you have at least 2 years directly supervising others. Ideally, you have experience with Agile software development and Jira. Being well-versed in anti-money laundering regulations within the banking/financial services industry is a plus. You also have a high degree of professionalism and demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating cross-functionally.  You’ll need a proven track record of complex problem-solving and decision-making, as well as demonstrating strong analytical and communication skills. AML/CTF certifications and experience with agile working methodologies are also desirable. You will be the face of our global compliance department for your area of responsibility.
