We are looking for a results oriented, positive and curious individual to join our Strategic Account Conversions team. You will support our business partners with data analyses on product usage, competitive spend and other business key performance indicators. As the Data Analyst you will need to have a passion for data and be strong at collecting and understanding data. Your business knowledge will help you to identify business -relevant requirements while using strong communication skills within various business contacts.

This role has a medium level of interaction with Sales Leadership at multiple levels and directly impacts the achievement of sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Build analytic tools that apply customer data to provide concrete insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
Prepares regular and ad hoc analytics.
Performs various data mining activities and analysis for Sales Management to identify and recommend opportunities.
Develops/Crafts visualizations/dashboards to build solutions and propose ideas to help interpret, action and make decisions with the data.
Identify business and analytics needs in close partnership with sales leadership, collect data requirements and translate them into practical items via the use of Excel, SQL or BI reporting.
Collaborate with Sales force and other key business partners.

Qualifications

Education:

BA/BS required, MA/MBA preferred

Required:

Minimum of 1-4 years business experience in Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, Field or Inventory Management and/or related experience required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, BI, etc.)
Apply Excel at an advanced level (macros, linking of files, data manipulation with pivot tables and lookups)
Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills are essential in this role
Natural curiosity and positive energy level required to proactively engage with business partners
Ability to work independently required
Domestic travel up to 25% required

Preferred:

Experience with relational databases and creating dashboards preferred
Exposure to data management, analytical and process automation tools is preferred, e.g., Qlik, Tableau or Power BI
Ability to apply knowledge of inventory and sales systems in order for analysis purposes
Experience working with cross-functional teams e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance
Ability to influence and develop interdependent collaboration which results in meeting departmental goals and objectives is preferred
