The Quickbase Technical Lead will work with the Continuous Improvement team to continue to develop, expand and improve the Quickbase applications that support all the core business functions of our Division. Primary responsibilities of the Quickbase Developer will include maintenance, administration, change management, and continuous improvement of existing Quickbase applications in addition to work on new applications as needed. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to analyze and organize information, develop capabilities, and improve processes as well as a deep understanding of Quickbase. They will work closely with all internal teams to understand business needs and enjoy providing excellent support services. This position will be based at AES CE’s headquarters in/near Louisville, CO. A local candidate is preferred but not required. Travel is expected to be minimal.

Primary Responsibilities

Contribute to the full life cycle of Quickbase application development, including design, coding, testing, and production support of internal and external facing Quickbase applications
Day-to-day end user support including user provisioning, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance of applications
Creating and maintaining application documentation
Understand data flow and integrations between multiple enterprise applications. Using systems knowledge to design scalable solutions across all applications
Researching new tools and solutions to meet our growing needs and assure we stay nimble and competitive

Skills and Qualifications:

2-3 years demonstrated experience in the Quickbase required. A College Degree with IT or Business Process major/focus or equivalent additional experience with Quickbase in an applicable business environment preferred.
Strong Data Analysis and Modeling experience and understanding of data structures
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. BI tools experience desired, Power BI preferred
Familiarity working with Python, JavaScript, JSON, and API for Cloud Integrations (Workato preferred). HTML/CSS, XML, Perl, and PHP a bonus.
Strong Interpersonal skills with a desire to work across dozens of sub-functional teams to expand and refine an elegant and effective business systems environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to create organized and informative reports, as well as comprehensive, accurate documentation
Must be able to problem solve technical issues, multitask, and meet multiple deadlines under pressure, and work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
