Job Description

Job Summary:

TheStudio at iHeartMedia is seeking an Art Director to lead our presentation team. As an Art Director, you’re great at helping turning ideas into compelling presentations as well as digital, print and outdoor assets. You can design, lead projects, and mentor junior members. You love to work with a team, and are comfortable being paired with a Sr. Project Manager to manage your team’s workload. This position reports is managed by the Associate Creative Director.

                                                                                                    

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Associate Creative Director on innovative visual designs for all marketing, sales and presentation materials
Provide art direction on small and large scale projects from conception to completion
Work closely with project managers to schedule projects and coordinate production
Prepare and present client creative presentations
Manage multiple jobs simultaneously
Review files and drive client approval process
Work effectively with internal clients and colleagues to complete projects within timeframe and budget
Create graphically engaging new business pitch presentations and materials
Present visual concepts and ideas in an organized, compelling, effective manner
Assist in creating innovative designs/logos for our markets and major event
Support the rest of the Creative team with any larger digital, editorial, social media, motion, branded or commercial design briefs
Ensure work consistently answers the brief in terms of look and feel, accuracy, functionality and brand identity
Contribute to weekly brainstorm meetings
Stay up to date on all necessary programs (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesignn, Campaign Monitor Eloqua, and Splash)
Continue to learn new tools and techniques that can be applied to your design, typography, composition and storytelling abilities
Lead and the mentor the presentation designers 

Qualifications/Requirements

5+ years professional experience designing outstanding responsive websites and/or mobile applications
Prior experience at advertising agency, production company, or entertainment company a major plus
Experience designing and/or conceptualizing design for big brands
A professional-level knowledge of industry standard design software and tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign
Strong type skills
Ability to present complex ideas and information into compelling visuals
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Must be adept at problem-solving and thinking quick on his/her feet
Natural leadership ability and skills
Strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines
Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
Ability to work well cross functionally and make appropriate trade-offs to meet time constraints
