If you have experience supporting and assisting HCM (Human Capital Management) applications in a global, multi-business group environment, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, Missouri location, you will provide assistance to the Managers in HRIS for implementations and other improvements. In addition, you will help the Operations team in resolving production issues, as needed.

The main responsibility of this Business Analyst will be to support the global rollout and support of Emerson’s Taleo Recruit and Oracle Recruiting Cloud systems. We look forward to seeing your application!

AS AN HRIS BUSINESS ANALYST II, YOU WILL: 

Own the configuration of the application based on Business Unit requirements and Emerson Global HRIS standards for Taleo Recruit and Oracle Recruiting Cloud with secondary support of Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Compensation Management, Time and Labor, Reporting, and other associated modules.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams in different lines of business to collect requirements for Oracle HCM primarily with the Recruit module
Assist in Oracle HCM implementations and on-boarding activities in the following areas:
Participate in requirements collecting sessions and maintain requirements documents
Convert legacy data into Oracle
Maintain other project management documentation such as fit/gap analysis
Participate in data validation
Assist with payroll parallel testing
Maintain reporting standards and coordinate reporting requirements across multiple Business Units
Present best in class solutions to the customer
Assist with the creation of any required technical designs specifications
Assist with the development of a test plan, test scripts and user testing of system functionality, enhancements, custom interfaces, reporting tools and conversion programs.
Assist with application functional and regression testing
Assist the Business Unit as requested in developing an organizational change program for the HRIS services and related internal process changes.
Provide support to the Business Units for Recruit, HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Compensation Management, Time and Labor, Reporting, and other associated modules as needed
Research new Oracle functionality to enhance customer usage of Oracle and assist in testing the new configuration before it is migrated in production
Transition completed implementations to the HRIS support process team
Provide support to the Operations team in resolving production issues
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Bachelor of Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology or related field

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 

Two to five years configuration, implementation, or business support experience with an HCM application preferred
Oracle HCM or Taleo Recruit experience preferred; however, PeopleSoft or Recruiting system experience will be considered
Understand the importance of meeting project goals

Able to connect with personnel in multi-disciplines from the clerical level to senior management
Able to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and vendors both internal and external
Experience with large change initiatives is a plus
