Position Summary

This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering against the model in the largest business unit for Kraft Heinz.  It is both a strategic and a tactical position.  Those that do not want to get their hands dirty or build out a function against a blank slate without buying pre-packaged solutions should not apply. 

This role is for the Director of IT Global Digital Mfg and STS for the KHC company.  This role will lead and partner across the organization to deliver industry best Supply Chain IT solutions for the KHC aligned to the overall company and IT strategies and account for Zone initiatives. The role will be part of the Global IT Supply Chain Team directly reporting to the VP- Head of IT Supply Chain.

This person will be responsible for oversight and delivery of programs and projects designed to drive business growth and continue KHC’s journey to be best in class at cost management.   This role includes direct management of a team of 6 to deliver the requirements of the role.

The applicant needs be highly capable in the Manufacturing IT Domain.

Primary Responsibilities:

Own and/or partner in the end-to-end delivery of core Manufacturing (STS) and Digital Manufacturing programs for KHC IT Globally. 

Direct ownership US related projects in Core Manufacturing and Digital Mfg
Governance of International projects in Core Manufacturing and Digital Mfg.

Responsible for developing- enrolling- and executing the IT Digital Manufacturing roadmap to enable world class manufacturing- improvements in cost- quality- and service.
Own or govern IT related elements of KHC’s Digital Manufacturing transformation programs across Quality- Processing- Maintenance- OEE- Yield- Connected Worker- and Energy.
Ensure connectivity to IT with OT/Engineering owned programs such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Automation.
Collaborate with IT Technology partners- KHC Business and IT Engineering leads to build strong infrastructure foundation to support Digital Manufacturing transformation.
Think strategically by identifying business opportunities based on industry trends and the best-suited position for the automation within the business operations. Measure automation success and work with business leadership to develop future roadmap and opportunities.
A senior IT leader who provides thought leadership in digital transformation- including:

Identifying the art of the possible and challenging the status quo
Developing and sourcing digital talent

Own stakeholder management (rituals and routines) with US business leadership

Partner with US Zone leadership to address business opportunities and issues as they arise
Interface with International Zone IT Leadership to ensure a total global view across the space.

Execute as the Business Relationship Manager for the US Zone Manufacturing Business:

Main contact for US ZTE and his staff
Connecting them within the IT function
Overseeing his organization in the execution of programs and projects to support
Act as the key point of contact for escalations for the project and related activities.

Oversee and be accountable for the Global Manufacturing template in support of all SAP initiatives include Catalyst- Keystone- and S/4.
Own or directly influence the project budgets (>$25MM+ across) and decisions including resourcing and investments across US and Global.
Manage the relationship with third party providers (including- not limited to IBM- Infosys- EY and OM Partners) for day-to-day project activities and future strategic relationships.
Drive delivery performance management: review metrics and manage performance against agreed targets.
Partner with IT Operations and Engineering organization of the included scope to ensure they are executed with excellence.
Identifies the impact of the organization’s vision and strategy on the established IT strategy and ensures consistency across both.

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or related degree
15+ years of general management and program/service delivery experience in IT (multifunctional preferable)
10+ years of experience in supply chain functional areas
10+ years of people management and development
Strong strategic thinking and decision making
Experience leading large- complex projects across multiple geographies
Experience in change management - preferably in a mixed outsourced and insourced environment
Experience in managing large- virtual teams- including offshore locations
Experience in working with 3rd party service providers of multiple types (functional- strategic- operations- BPO)
Deductive reasoning- analytical and problem-solving skills
Significant prior experience in leading and motivating a team – recognized as an inspirational leader and people manager with a good track record of attracting- developing and retaining talent
Prior experience of enabling and driving change with a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity to enable and drive change in a multi-national environment
Proven stakeholder management capabilities
Proven track record of working successfully in a matrix environment- ideally in a leadership role
Customer focused individual
Experience leading or actively participating in continuous improvement projects from idea generation to implementation
Experience in dealing with multicultural and multifunctional teams

Data mining with the ability to sanitize and rationalize data
Evidence of strong management and leadership abilities- particularly in building and leading a team
