Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

This role will conduct independent risk assessment and analysis for the Data Management Risk Level 2 Operational Risk Type team known as Data Management Risk Governance Oversight (DMRGO). This will include conducting assessment of controls design and performance, risk profiles for individual business groups and enterprise functions, including new business initiatives, issues, operational risk events and losses, and other risk program elements such as risk acceptances and escalated events.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 5+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in risk management demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications
* A BA/BS degree or higher in business or finance
* 5+ years of data governance experience
* Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Other Desired Qualifications
* Understanding of independent testing/control testing
* Knowledge and understanding of data governance and data management challenges and approaches
* Understanding of data management risk principles
* Comprehension of processes and systems associated with data governance.
* Experience with risk and control platform such as SHRP/RCSA
* Experience with an enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance
