Role Overview:
We are actively recruiting for a Finance Manager to be a trusted advisor to the Service Product Line General Manager and team in planning, execution and initiatives. To achieve that, you will work with Service business partners of all levels and regional management team in proposing commercial deals to customers; achieving Service business and financial goals; and performing financial analyses to influence investment decisions. Our Service Product Line aka our Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) provides solutions throughout the equipment lifecycle to help our customers meet their demands for speed and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Service revenue, margin, headcounts, opex and capex forecasting and QE close processes
Partner with business development in new product introductions and commercial deals to customers; ensure the latest commercial deal incentives are properly reflected in the forecast
Partner with business operations and regions to manage in-quarter Service revenue and margin progress; identify profitability improvement opportunities
Publish opex flash report to provide visibility to quarter to date spending actuals vs. commitment; make spending prioritization recommendation; own the achievement of financial goals
Perform actuals vs. commitment variance analyses
Perform financial analyses to support investment decisions and Corporate initiatives
Identify and lead business process improvement initiatives to improve operations efficiency
Support Balance Sheet Review and other compliance (e.g. SOX) activities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, MBA or accounting professional certification preferred
7-10 years of experience working in finance and accounting; previous experience in manufacturing a plus
SAP and Business Objects experience is highly desirable; otherwise demonstratable strong systems skills.
Very strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills; able to extract relevant information from large financial data lake
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Curious, ask questions, with continuous learning and improvement mindset.
Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; able to articulate complex accounting transactions in simple business terms
Good interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
