Dal-Tile is seeking a Strategic Account Manager that is responsible for increasing commercial sales for Dal-Tile by creating new opportunities with end user and developer clients and by driving project specifications in collaboration with the Architectural team, through bid and order placement with the commercial sales representatives and SSC Managers.

Major functions and Scope:

* Travels throughout assigned market(s) to call on regular and prospective customers including Designers, End Users, Developers, General Contractors and Contractors. Requiring 3-5 calls per day with a minimum of 20-25 per week logged in Sales Force.

* Identifies and establishes relationships with the Top 25 commercial, multiresidential development firms and general contractors.

* Mine through forecasting/job databases to understand where end user and development customers are investing capital.

* Attends and participates in Large Job Tracking Meeting to ensure all opportunities are discussed and tracked.

* Works in unison with Architectural Reps and National Account Managers where applicable to collaborate on strategic accounts and projects.

* Create and provide forecast to the planning team for large/ ongoing commercial work.

* Develops indepth knowledge and expertise with regard to all Dal-Tile products, allied products, and installation methods.

* Works to achieve established annual or quarterly objectives, including but not limited to new project opportunity creation and closed/won sales volume.

* Input projects and manage project information in CRM system to be shared with applicable internal parties.

* Adheres to all regulatory guidelines and company policy as it relates to safety and our guiding principles.

* Performs all other assigned duties as required.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required

* Two plus years of sale or industry experience

Competencies:

* Strong communication skills

* Exercises independent judgement and initiative in order to make good management decisions

* Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
