Come and join Intel as an Operations Research Engineer.

Some of the job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Design and develop system wide solutions applying engineering, mathematical, simulation and optimization models to drive solutions to complex manufacturing problems.

* Identify and solve highly complex problems in factory performance, loading, equipment performance, decision science and distribution network problems. Require a thorough understanding of the factory environment and knowledge to develop software applications of complex engineering models and apply them to identify and drive solutions.

* Build, develop, validate and apply mathematically based decision algorithms, heuristics, optimization and simulation models and tools.

* Work closely with the business units to identify root causes, define the strategic and tactical needs and drive the appropriate business and technical solutions.

* Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal technical training, business knowledge and judgment.

* Team, interpersonal, analysis and presentation skills are required to lead and manage projects, and to influence and work within varying levels of customer management and decision bodies.

* Responsible for Automation applications and/or infrastructure including development of software applications and software systems.

The candidate should possess the below behavioral traits:

o Analysis of complex process issues and identification of a solution

o Communication skills and partnership with the department.

o Willing to handle ambiguity and diverse tasks.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum qualifications

* You should possess a Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in Systems, Computer Science, Industrial or Operations Research Engineering with background in software engineering and software development.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience with OOP concepts and using discrete event simulation.

Preferred qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in:

* Factory Physics and Manufacturing Science

* Data analysis

* Applied statistics

* Applied programming

* Database programming
