Job Description
Position Summary
Reporting to the SVP, Business Development, Business Development Analyst (BDA) will assist the Business Development team by providing support for bids, presentations, and other opportunities, coordinating with other key departments such as Project Development, Project Finance, Legal, Marketing and others to maximize our deal velocity and grow our business.
The BDA will also work closely with the SVP of Business Development on analyzing new markets, reporting sales data, assisting with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamic and completing other projects and tasks as assigned. The abilities to work both independently and as a team member are critical, as well as the desire and innovative mind set to operate as an important contributor within a fast-paced and growing leader in the renewable energy space.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist SVP and BD Directors to analyze and evaluate opportunities and provide assistance to proposal team members
Participate in Deal Teams and assist the BD Directors to move projects to contract execution in concert with analysts from Project Development
Help improve the appearance, format, style, and standards of client facing proposals during the proposal planning phase
Assist in the development of proposal narrative based in consultation with BD Directors, contract staff, and/or Safari’s library of past presentations.
Format documents in Microsoft Dynamics, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat according to guidelines provided by the BD Directors
Edit documents for grammar, spelling, factual accuracy, and clarity according to style guides and standards
Coordinate and perform proposal production, including printing, copying, and binding proposals; and provide timely submission of all official proposal deliverables
Review weekly pipeline reports and review them with the SVP in preparation for distribution to leadership
Coordinate with Marketing with news of contract execution and new opportunities
