Position Overview:

Freddie Mac is seeking an experienced Agile Coaching Lead with hands-on experience with Agile delivery. This role within the Corporate Technology Office will work directly with multiple product teams. This individual will implement and facilitate the Freddie Mac Agile Methodology including practices and ceremonies as recommended in our Modern Delivery Playbook. As a member of this team you will provide agile thought leadership across initiatives along with other Scrum Coaches (formerly Scrum Masters) on scaling agile development, DevOps practices, servant leadership, and modeling behaviors to enable teams to deliver high value results against the most complex business and technology initiatives. Your Impact:

Deliver coaching, mentorship, facilitation, and training at the line of business, portfolio, program, and team levels in an emerging Agile environment practicing Scrum at the team level and scaling via SAFe.
As a collaborative partner and coach, you will participate in real-time to provide support to teams as they solve and overcome difficult challenges
Enable teams to fulfill their respective Agile responsibilities, including Scrum Coaches, Product Owners, and Release Train Engineers
Drive continuous improvement through examples and practical experience, guided in a non-academic delivery style
Encourage the adoption of agile technical practices, improving execution, communication and concurrently building group skills and capabilities.
Coach Agile engineering standard methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), DevOps, Continuous Integration (CI) and test automation
Foster a collaborative and focused culture within the Agile team and embrace the ‘whole team’ concept
Assess the Agile maturity and skill-growth for portfolios, programs and teams and providing training, coaching and feedback as required
Encourage the consistent use of relevant metrics that help teams see how they are doing and identify Agile people, process and technology issues and communicate to leadership, as necessary
Work peer-to-peer with a team of other experienced Agile Coaches to create consistency between key coaching messages and to improve coordination between Agile teams

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
8 or more years of direct experience in Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas)
2-3 years of hands-on experience as an Agile Coach, preferably with large organizations adopting Scrum. Experiences limited to coaching as a Scrum Coach are insufficient
5-7 years of experience as a Scrum Coach and member of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations
