Overview
 

Manages and directs the activities and staff involved in developing and maintaining human resources activities, policies, procedures and programs relating to all phases of the human resources function by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Responsibilities

Provides support and guidance to the site management and personnel by identifying legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in

Directs the maintenance of human resources records and data systems and reviews employee changes in status to ensure fair and equitable application of compensation, benefits, human resources and employee relations policies and
Facilitates, presents and recommends to management regarding new or existing human resources policies, standard practices and
Conducts research into current industry trends and makes recommendations to management regarding new programs or modifications to existing policies and procedures by participating in compensation and benefit surveys to remain apprised of current trends, conditions and legislative
Provides guidance to managers and supervisors in the use and application of salary ranges and increase guidelines, job evaluation plans and interpretation of human resources policies and procedures. Counsels employees in the interpretation and application of human resources
Coordinates recruitment activities, new hire orientation, training, compensation programs, EEO, employee benefits, health and safety programs and affirmative action plans through to ensure positive employee relations in keeping with company
Oversees human resources record system.
Analyzes employee attitudes and concerns and acts as company liaison when dealing with vendors or government
Oversees the recruiting, interviewing, testing and selection of employees to fill vacant May be involved with interviewing the more senior exempt level candidates.
Plans and conducts new employee on-boarding to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual
Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and
Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within
Leads budget preparation of human resources
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind
