Overview

Shifts and Locations Available:

Part-time, Days: 2, 12-hour shifts per week (benefits-eligible: medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more)

Location: North Hospital (Carmel, IN)

About the Position:

Are you looking to utilize your Paramedic licensure while gaining experience working outside of an ambulance? Then working in the North Hospital ED is a magnificent position for you! Our team in Carmel is seeking motivated, self-starting individuals that are comfortable working collaboratively with a small team.

Our teams have the opportunity to care for and manage a wide range of patient demographics. Therefore, all qualified candidates will possess the required knowledge and skill to care for patients ranging from neonatal to elderly. IUH ensures that everyone receives continued education and certification opportunities so it's easy to stay up-to-date with the health care industries' best operational standards!

Qualified applicants will also be comfortable working closely with a smaller team, while also being able to function and collaborate with other teams within the hospital. Our ED-Paramedics play a meaningful role in the team dynamic and help ensure that patient care is held to the highest standard we can offer.

Safeguarding our patients and each other is an important part of how we deliver the best care possible to the communities we serve. As a condition of employment, IU Health requires all new hires to receive various vaccinations, including the influenza and COVID-19 vaccines, barring an approved exemption. New hires will also be provided the option to submit proof of previous vaccination. The COVID-19 vaccine is not required to begin employment; however, all team members need to be fully vaccinated by September 1, 2021.
