As a Sr. Splunk Engineer you will:
• Complete development tasks using Core Splunk and ITSI, including data onboarding, creating visualizations and alerts, building/utilizing ad-hoc SPL for production support purposes, developing KPI and setting up thresholds for alerts
• Provide technical support for the Centene Splunk environment
• Interface with business users and stakeholders to determine needs

Additionally you will bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience
Preferred:
• Experience in a production support role with focus on monitoring, trending, forecasting, log analyzer tools such as Splunk, Elk Stack, SaaS Analyzers (Sumo Logic, Loggly, Splunk > Storm), Open Source Analyzers (Logstash, GrayLog2), etc.
• Experience working with core Splunk including administration, ad-hoc searching using SPL, and development of visualizations/reports/alerts.
• Direct ITSI experience including KPI creation and calibration, glass tables, and alerts configuration
• Experience with building complex searches and utilizing lookup tables and input lookups from KV Stores.
• Experience with indexing data from multiple types of systems with and without universal forwarders.
• Experience with writing scripts to collect data that cannot use the universal forwarder.
• Experience with driving Splunk demo’s for providing insight to other teams and business units.
