Job Description

The nursing team at IU Health is comprised of more than 9,000 professionals providing care for patients at over 800 sites, including 16 hospitals that are either American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet® or Pathway to Excellence Program® designated, well on our way to a goal of 100%. Our partnerships with Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University School of Nursing give us access to the very latest science and the very best training. Together, we are redesigning nursing care delivery models and finding new ways to improve patient quality, experience and value.

We are committed to providing a comprehensive, personalized support system to new graduate nurses to help transition to the role of professional nurse. All new graduate nurses in their first nursing role will have the opportunity to participate in a Nurse Residency Program called "Transition to IU Health Nursing Practice" alongside nursing orientation. The Nurse Residency program provides socialization and support, enhances clinical judgment and promotes professional development.
