This position is located in Ceridian's Gardena, CA print facility. This is a Part-Time, benefits eligible position working 20-25 hours/week.

Applicants must be able to work on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday: 12:30-6:30pm

About the Position:

Entry level position for Distribution that includes the ability to demonstrate and perform duties as defined in a quality manner to insure on-going customer satisfaction and retention. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities:

Perform error free wrapping / packaging according to district standards and customer requirements
Perform check reconciliation using the Production DVS system.
Remove, separate, and wrap individual customer reports for final distribution, using the Customer Profile sheet in the printed reports and ensuring proper distribution of customer requirements.
Perform Job status functions for packaging, place package in the final location for internal or external pickup. Utilize various overnight carrier shipping systems that are utilized by the print center.
Learn and understand the basic operation on the Xerox/Moore printing and finishing systems. This includes loading/unloading, shutdown procedures, proper system responses, and clearing jams.
Understand the usage of RPN and the mainframe applications and basic use for customer inquiries and changes.
Complete Distribution assessment, module 1 within first 90 days and Print and Finishing Modules within 120 days. Use knowledge gaps from assessments to plan future training requirements.

Contacts

Position requires contact with internal personnel and customer couriers, where matters discussed require knowledge of the payroll process and delivery process. This contact will be required on matters relating to the timely completion and completeness of the payroll. May also require limited customer contact, informing them of delays in the receipt of their payroll when problems arise.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Course work in computer applications and/or experience in computer applications and/or PC/LAN systems desired.
PC hardware and application software familiarity.
Excellent telephone and personal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve missing components and track past process errors.
Ability to do repetitive work and interpret and follow instructions.
Past knowledge/experience in one or more of the following areas a plus: data entry, operations, shipping and receiving, mailroom, or technical training school.
Strong PC skills and adequate knowledge of desktop software including the Microsoft Suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of quality processes and customer satisfaction requirements.
Ability to adapt to rapid changes in process and PC Applications and Software
Ability to work independently within a team environment
Ability to stand for long periods of time when involved with distribution duties.
May be required to lift boxes of checks (32 lbs) and cartons of white paper (51 lbs).
