Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting and leading portions of the testing activities on PMO led Information Services projects.  The Quality Assurance (QA) Senior Analyst defines and maintains testing processes, leads testing teams, tests plans, and reports status.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Works on and leads various project deliverables including but not limited to:

Test plans, detailed test schedules, test environment plans

Analyzes system architecture and designs testing strategy as appropriate

Facilitates the development of detailed test cases

Creates functional design in collaboration with IS development teams

Defines and publishes project testing metrics

Leads testing efforts on PMO led projects:

Manages cross-functional testing efforts with complex dependencies

Role models the use of standards and methodologies around testing management

Effectively manages the project triple constraint, Budget, Time, Scope

Evaluates risks and alternative testing approaches

Develops and promotes testing best practices:

Leverages and enhances standard testing deliverables

Incorporates automated testing where appropriate to increase test coverage

Leverages and develops key testing metrics and dashboards

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education

High School degree or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

3 - 5 plus years of relevant work experience on large, complex projects

Proficiency with Microsoft Project and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Embraces a customer service mindset

Demonstrated ability to think critically and conceptually

Consumer Packaged Goods experience a plus
