Senior Software Engineer (.Net/SQL)

What youll achieve

Dells Premier Engineering Team (http://premier.dell.com/) possess excellent technical design skills, development and deployment expertise. As part of the team you will be responsible for new development, innovation, implementing and deploying new enhancements to Dells Premier online support platform. You will have the opportunity to join a growing team of talented engineers dedicated in delivering a seamless end to end purchasing experience for our channel and B2B customers.

You will:

* Interact with development teams globally, work closely with our business partners to understand requirements for high-quality deliverables in a timely manner.
* Develop Ecommerce applications specifically for B2B and channel customers
* Responsibility for delivering high velocity improvements to the premier online experience across the globe.
* Analyse diverse and complex problems as a hands-on engineer participating in most phases of applications programming
* Develop enhancements for eCommerce applications for service notifications, order status, product shipment details, and cataloguing Dells products hosted by B2B partners
* Ideal candidates will have previous experience in eCommerce Domain and experience in large multi-national corporations and the desire to grow their development skills in these areas

Essential Requirements

* Software/IT engineering/code development experience
* Experience developing enterprise/systems/applications with advanced programming knowledge in C, .Net Framework, .Net core, (Net MVC frameworks), Web API (MS ASP.Net), HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, Angular, Web Services and SQL (MS SQL Server) and NoSQL Databases
* Experience working on an Agile engineering development team
* Experience building eCommerce web software or Enterprise Applications
* Knowledge/experience with Rest Architecture, Pair Programming, Test Driven development, CI/CD

Desired:

* Experience or knowledge of Cassandra DB, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
* Bachelor or Masters degree in CS (or related field)
