Job DescriptionPosition Summary

ABM Electrical Power Services is searching for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to research, estimate, generate proposals, and close opportunities for acceptance testing of electrical power equipment and systems. The Inside Sales Representative develops new prospects and generates opportunities by searching bid boards along with building and maintaining relationships with general and electrical contractors to increase sales of electrical power services. The Inside Sales Representative coordinates with and provides estimating support to Sales Engineers and may conduct field visits as necessary.

Essential Duties
* Researching target prospects, competition, and industry verticals.
* Generating new prospects thru cold calling, networking with existing relationships, as well as company sponsored lead programs.
* Analyzing requests for quotations (RFQ), including commercial and technical specifications to develop effective, accurate and professional quotations.
* Booking electrical acceptance testing agreements.
* Demonstrating a working knowledge of the ABM Electrical Power selling cycle and selling system in assigned territory utilizing sales tools, strategies, and programs in their dedicated product markets.
* Implementing, using, and maintaining Salesforce.com to manage sales pipeline.
* Producing effective sales forecasts and managing account management plan for assigned client/territory.
* Data entry for sales representatives in the field.
* Creative problem solving and solution building.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree with 2 years of Account Management/Inside Sales experience * OR* 3-5 years Account Management/Inside Sales experience without a bachelors degree
* Demonstrated record of success in Account Management.
* High volume cold calling experience is preferred as well as the drive needed to sell our technical services.
* Technical knowledge in the electrical power equipment testing industry and/or technical aptitude with ability to be trained.
* Service industry contract sales experience is helpful.
* Must be consultative, have above average energy and work ethic, possess strong verbal & written communication skills, be money motivated, and competitive.
* Must be proficient and self-reliant when estimating acceptance testing opportunities.
* High energy, great written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong computer proficiency and ability to work with various software programs (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, etc.)
