As a

Senior Systems Management Specialist, you willescort Vendors such as Curvature, Hitachi/Dell, IBM, Cisco, Teradata and others take on a Production Support Analyst role over a period of time by learning from SMEs and be on time and ready to work consistently. The Systems Management Specialist is essential for maintaining documentation on what has transpired during tour of duty, and represent the team and Optum with a can do attitude. Positions in this function include those who monitor and operate computer and peripheral equipmentreview, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for large-scale computer systems. Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Provide expertise in software systems programming, operating software applications, consulting on complex projects/existing applications, timely completion of scheduled jobs, and overall operating systems. Also includes overseeing environments health and facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity. Develop processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs. Document all hardware, application, facility, etc. problems and take corrective action as required.
HoursThursday, Friday, and Saturday &ndash 630PM CST &ndash 7AM CST. A 4th day of work every 3 weeks which will be Wednesday &ndash 630PM CST &ndash 7AM CST

Required Qualifications
* High school Diploma/ GED
* 1yearsknowledge of governmental regulations.
* 1 yearsknowledge of Change Control process as well as common Data Center Practices
* Ability to travel locally up to 25
* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.

* Knowledge of ITIL
