Key Responsibilities
STRATEGY AND MARKETING
Guide the agency as it works to deliver exceptional consumer experiences across all elements of the consumer journey, with a focus on CRM and known consumer marketing. The role will offer our brands a mixture of think tank inspiration as well as tactical blue prints that bring the vision to life.
Improve our performance in known consumer marketing by creating plans and processes that build deeper relationships with consumers with each additional contact
Build an organization of generalists and specialists that meet current marketing needs and anticipate new needs stemming from increases in personalization and new digital communications options.
Drive skill in performance marketing and CRM by creating a test and learn culture, moving organization to a faster, more responsive and more experimental footing.
Partner closely with tech leads to ensure that technology offerings are keeping pace with consumer needs
Work seamlessly between creative, account, brand and direct-to-consumer specialists to drive a spirit of cooperation
Ensures strategic approach fits the new multi-cultural mainstream, bringing a broad, diverse perspective to all brand strategies.
Collaborates with senior leaders in our major external agencies to identify opportunities and ensure our consumers’ experiences are seamless across channels.
Influences the agenda of Marketing Nation to drive more personalized experiences

Leads a highly engaged and integrated team with a clear vision and measurable goals
Brings together and build relationships with a diverse variety of specialist to work in service of our brands, including CRM, analytics, technology, user experience and DTC strategy
Creates actionable developmental plans for direct reports and provides continuous feedback to encourage continuing growth for leaders.
Drives the agency’s work to be simpler, faster and bolder.
Works with account leadership to scope agency services, bringing tools and talent needed to meet brand needs.
Develop strong followership, engagement and loyalty for Electro as a whole.
Fuels the Marketing function and its culture, creativity and innovation.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT/MARKETING CAPABILITIES
Establishes strong relationships with senior client management (CMO, VPs of Marketing, Studio Leaders, R&D Design team, Corporate, etc.)
Works closely with Marketing Transformation to implement marketing’s vision
Perceived as valuable client partner in achieving their business and marketing goals.
Understands our corporate strategy and goals. Ensures all Electro strategies are tied to them and they are effectively communicated to the team.

Agency has approximately 180 Clorox employees and contract employees in three locations: Oakland, CA, Durham, NC and Palm Harbor, FL.

Education Level/Degree:
Bachelors Degree required
Graduate Degree, a plus
Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required
Minimum Requirements:
15+ years of relevant agency strategy or equivalent experience, with a strong emphasis on CRM and known consumer marketing
7+ years in a leadership role managing large teams and complex marketing work
CPG experience is preferred
Experience with personalization and multicultural marketing, a plus
