Job Description Summary

To support our Services strategy of achieving global operational standards across Renewable Digital Services, including Onshore and Offshore. The Standards Leader - Major Operations will develop work standards for Major Component Change (MCE), Up-Tower Repairs, and Blades, that reduce variability with documented processes and instruction for our Services Business. The goal is to create a lean work standards structure that supports continuous improvements while achieving required outcomes in Safety, Quality, and Cost.

Roles and Responsibilities

* You will closely partner with Service Operations teams to implement and drive to closure sustainable lean programs and processes that enhances the margins of our FSA and OSA backlog.
* Create Work Standards, KPIs, and regular operating rhythms focused on Continuous Improvements.
* You will utilize your lean operational, financial & commercial experiences to maximize Services Excellence.
* Develop and deliver Lean workouts within the organization ensuring Major Operations is kept standard, current, and ongoing for all team members.
* The position is to deliver operational improvements through the strategic deployment of lean principals and continuous improvement tools and techniques, and will be the organizations expert in Major Operations Standards and will provide the strategy, create the infrastructure, and lead the division to meet our strategic goals.
* In addition, the Standards Leader-Major Operations will be responsible to ensure margin enhancement initiatives are built into the standard operating procedures, including MCE, Up-tower, and Blades that drives our business, leverages best practices, and accelerates productivity initiatives.
* This position will be cross functional and will work closely with each of the Regions around the world along with, Digital, Productivity Leaders, Service Directors, Site Managers, and CMR teams. Regular reviews with regions around the world to identify improvement areas, coach, train, and execute to achieve Operational Excellence via telecommunication meetings along with face-to-face and travel to areas as needed.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree from an accredited University or College
* Minimum of 5 years in managing Process Improvement Projects with Lean tools; i.e., 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Error proofing, or SMED

Desired Characteristics

* Operational and lean management experience
* Lean toolkit application skills (value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Error proofing, Single-Minute Exchange of Dies ( SMED,) team problem solving, etc.)
* Understanding of S&OP processes in Services
* Responsible for developing Standards, metrics, tracking execution, and highlighting the areas of Excellence along with those needing improvement, which contributes to the overall global execution, cost out, and productivity strategy for our Digital Services business.
* Drive the execution of operational entitlement, best practices, and process improvements through regional accountability regular regional review rhythm.
* Develop and execute strategies to ensure margin enhancement initiatives are reflected in Inquiry to Order ( ITO)
* commercial and OTR execution.
* Work closely with CMR team to ensure cost models reflect NPI, Field Execution, Process
* improvements, digital tread, and other productivity benefits.
* Align initiatives globally across Renewables P&Ls that improve overall competitiveness and operational excellence.
* Work across the P&Ls, Operations & Functional areas to drive a culture of operational, financial
* and contractual risk management that result in improved financial performance.
* Balance product cost, productivity, configuration management and performance objectives.
* Integrate benefits across tooling, engineering, digital, productivity, operations and product line teams to ensure benefits are reflected in CMR, ITO, OTR.
