Job Summary:The Technology, Product, Xperience (TPX) teamdesigns, develops, delivers and supports innovative products and services that are essential to bringing internet, TV and voice to more than 28 million residential and business customers across a global footprint of products. TPX is focused on transforming the customer experience, which goes well beyond updating existing products and services and introducing others that customers soon realize they can't live without; it's also about making those products easy to use, accessible, reliably available and supporting our customers with best-in-class service.This experienced Program Manager will work with diverse cross-?functional team members in the Entertainment & AI Services group to manage cross-company software service migration projects across our various partner organizations by working with product, engineering and fellow PM stakeholders to develop and track deliverables against program plans, develop risk and issue plans and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as required. This role will manage mostly back-end API service delivery interfacing with many different microservices and UI clients in the various businesses of Comcast.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
-Works with team members to inspire and facilitate transformation of business objectives into actionable plans consisting of epics and stories.
-Develops and manages detailed project plans, action item registers, and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects
-Ensures that development teams are focused on achieving business outcomes and doing the most important work
-Balances client, team and project needs to help provide clear objectives enabling teams to effectively prioritize work.
-Serves as single point of contact for project status. Manages end to end project status and information in the form of program review meetings, Confluence pages and other written/graphical updates.
-Demonstrates creativity in problem solving.
-Takes ownership over program kick-off, planning, and team motivation activities as familiarity with the technical systems and team members is gained.
-Identifies areas where process improvements can make a material business impact and works with the team to implement.
-Facilitates cross-functional decision-making, negotiation and issue resolution for topics with various levels of complexity and sensitivity
-Serves as the delivery owner, responsible for a successful delivery and raising any concerns or issues to leadership
-Targets communication to the appropriate audience and presents effectively to groups of varying backgrounds.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
-Generally requires at least 8 years related experience
-Understanding of the SDLC with PMP, CSM, or similar certification a plus
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-Independent problem solving skills and risk management experience
-Understanding of the systems/architectures that combine to deliver software services
-Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
-Understanding of X1 product suite a plus
-Project management experience in a technical software organization with an agile methodology
-Demonstrated capacity to handle additional responsibility for multiple, parallel efforts and solid facilitation skills
