As an Operations Specialist, you will be assisting retirement specialists with various financial services that impact their clients. This position reports to the Director of REC Sales Administration and works closely with financial advisors and other back office operations and broker dealer departments, to ensure timely and accurate submissions of paperwork.

About the role
Performance Objectives:
Assist with daily functions within the Operations Department, including opening, reviewing, and distributing mail to the Retirement Specialists.
Print and prepare daily fulfillments for the Retirement Specialists as well as scanning and submitting paperwork to the back-office processing departments.
Communicate with other departments and financial advisors to ensure accurate information and timely processing of client paperwork.
Work to obtain split codes as needed from Broker Dealer operations.
Maintain high work standards reviewing and processing complex financial documents with accuracy, as well as documenting and mailing transaction checks to the appropriate departments.
Must review and understand all of the various client documents for financial services offered and how the related financial documents are processed and their impact on customers’ accounts.
Meet daily production and quality review goals by processing transactions timely and accurately, including booking transactions to generate compensation for agents.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment to meet daily department deadlines.
Job Requirements:
1+ years of clerical experience with heavy data entry skills and ability to utilize Microsoft Word and Excel products
Must be able to work overtime with little notice due to requirements of processing standards and workload
Must be detail oriented and have strong research and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic with ability to follow instructions
Handle high priority requests in a rapid and efficient manner
