Job Summary

There are two positions available that will be filled at either the Associate Staffing Specialist or Staffing Specialist level, commensurate with the selected candidates' skills and abilities.

Dominion Energy is seeking an Associate Staffing Specialist or Staffing Specialist (Recruiter) to join its Talent Acquisition team. As a member of our team, this role is responsible for executing the company’s recruiting strategy to meet current and upcoming hiring needs. This position is expected to primarily recruit for vacancies within the Power Delivery organization, but the recruiter may also assist in filling jobs in other areas.

Responsibilities:
•    Partners closely with HR Business Engagement and business leadership to develop and execute a cost effective recruiting strategy that is consistent with business goals.
•    Collaborates with management to understand their staffing needs, business issues and job requirements.
•    Utilizes numerous sourcing channels (internal and/or external) to develop an appropriate qualified and diverse candidate pool.
•    Ensures that all recruitment and selection efforts are consistent with all relevant policies and are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
•    Utilizes electronic databases to source for candidates, evaluates and screens candidates, conducts phone interviews, works with Staffing Administrator to schedule face-to-face interviews and testing, if applicable; works with HR Business Engagement and hiring manager to develop appropriate offers and follows up with unsuccessful candidates.
•    Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.
•    Works with HR Business Engagement to coordinate various matters in relation to recruitment.
•    Counsels hiring managers on issues such as recruiting trends, industry best practice and diversity.
•    May be involved with relationship strategy and recruiting from colleges and universities, technical and vocational schools, military institutions and job fairs.
•    May be involved with pre-employment testing processes, administration of relocation policy and staffing systems requirements.
•    Keeps abreast of current practices related to recruiting and staffing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Associate Staffing Specialist:
Minimum: One year of recruiting experience, which includes full cycle recruiting and/or sourcing experience. 
 
Staffing Specialist:
Minimum: Three years of recruiting experience, which includes full cycle recruiting and/or sourcing. (A Master's degree can count towards one year of experience)
 
•    Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Proficient personal computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications and applicant tracking systems (Success Factors, Taleo, Kenexa ICIMS or other related systems).
•    Knowledge of company organizational structures.
•    Strong knowledge of recruiting techniques, employment policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
•    Knowledge of company and HR policies, programs and information systems (SAP) is preferred.
•    Possess strong critical thinking and decision making skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
•    Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast paced environment.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.

Education Requirements
