About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and tech-savvy Analytics Manager to strategize and execute business intelligence and analytics for the North America Ecommerce team within the Consumer Audio business. You will be responsible for extracting and interpreting raw data to derive valuable insights and influence decision-making. Duties include data mining and management, working with Harman Data/BI team as well as solely in developing and implementing analytics solutions, track key performance metrics and generate timely reports in an effort to improve business performance and achieve their business objectives. To excel in this role, you will have a background in analytics and statistics, a wiz at Excel, SQL queries, and python.

You will be responsible for analyzing our eCom direct & in-direct business and working with key stakeholders to execute & measure these opportunities, such as market conditions, competitive landscape, optimum inventory levels, shipping methodology, merchandising and promotional effectiveness, customer engagement, and satisfaction measurement. To execute these goals, you will oversee the eCom data pipeline and develop key practices to ensure we gather and leverage qualitative data from various relevant sources to make the most effective digital decisions.

You will report to the Director, E-commerce.

What You Will Do

Work with eCommerce leads and cross-functional teams including operations, sales, customer service, marketing, and consumer insights to champion eCommerce direct (ie. JBL.com) and indirect (ie. BestBuy.com, Amazon.com) data-driven marketing, merchandising, operational, and customer experience optimizations. Guide eCommerce leads in identifying key performance indicators for their areas and then build appropriate reporting that provides insight into the performance of initiatives and approach, using all available data sources (web analytics, customer database, third party tools, SAP BI data, Qlik Sense, industry data).
Assume strategic ownership of Harman’s eCommerce data: meticulously assessing performance, vigilantly & proactively finding trends, and identifying opportunities to increase topline revenue, profitability, and consumer satisfaction. Identify traffic trends, abandonment issues, and opportunities for improving site conversion rates.
Use data mining and statistics to find patterns within data and assist in turning them into actionable insights and create output that tells the story behind the data to non-technical team members so they can execute more effectively.
Maintain daily/weekly dashboards for business KPI's and provide monthly/quarterly/annual deep-dive analyses of the e-commerce business both direct and indirect. Provides a holistic summary of performance and takeaways that take into consideration all device types, marketing programs, merchandising strategies, and national promotions, A/B tests, customer service, supply chain operations, inventory, and more.
Drive inventory forecasting and reporting with the eCommerce team to support accurate forecasting and prevent lost sales due to inventory constraints.

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics or other quantitative disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of data analysis experience with an emphasis on web analytics, preferably at an e-commerce brand with a high volume of complex data.
3 years of experience in online marketing and merchandising environment.
2 years of experience writing complex SQL queries and expert in Excel.
Working knowledge of statistics, behavioral and demographic targeting research, and experience with data modeling and predictive analytics.
Strong analytical and data visualization skills with the ability to deliver insights to key stakeholders and non-technical audiences.

What is Nice to Have

Experience with marketing attribution modeling.
Google Analytics & Qlik sense experience.
Experience with cohort analysis.

What Makes You Eligible
