Location:

National Harbor, Maryland

Assigned tasks will require a mixture of data entry, technical, and analytical skills. This position will work in a cross functional team environment and have the ability to collaborate effectively with various MGM National Harbor operating departments to implement and maintain business solutions. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

* Review daily Over/ Short Trending Report and perform daily cash handling audits.
* Investigate and resolve all incidents related to cash handling and POS. Report and escalate challenges, as needed, to Finance Management.
* Responsible for handling any check/ receipt requests from various F&B outlets
* Responsible for handling guest recovery request
* Perform Property Comp audit
* Perform monthly supplies audit
* Manage and Store Non-Gaming Records by utilizing Iron Mountain System
* Create PO/Requisitions in procurement system if needed.
* Support an effective relationship amongst the Finance Shared Services Center.
* Attends all required training classes and keeps current on all resort departmental procedures.
* Ability to write and communicate new policies and procedures to the Finance Management.
* Other job-related duties, as requested.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Required:

* At least one (1) year of related experience.
* Working knowledge and use of Excel software
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms

Preferred:

* Previous experience in a cash handling position
* Previous audit experience
* Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.





CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Non-Gaming License

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

* Operational and back office knowledge of a computerized POS system.
* Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Must be a team player to motivate cashiers to optimal performance
* Must have strong management skills to promote orderliness, and to drive the team to achieve set goals
* Problem resolution abilities
* Decision making skills
* Math skills, including, addition, subtraction, and multiplication to be able to make simple calculations
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
* Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

* Regular scheduled hours: Various days and various hours
* Work varied shifts, including evening, weekends, and holidays
* Schedule requires working in accordance to entertainment events which may include working long or irregular hours and weekends
* Ability to bend and reach into cabinets to file document, lift and move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds to load computer paper as well as the storage, retrieval, and transportation of documents
* Operate business equipment such as telephone, photo copier, fax, 10 key and personal computers
* Possess the manual dexterity to access a computer via keyboard and be seated before a computer monitor for extended periods of time
* Flexible in work environment may be required to work in different locations based on job needs
